Laser education display solution delivers 100-inch Full HD engaging images that flat panels just cannot match

Display size and interactivity matter in a teaching environment, and Epson’s new laser EB-710Ui addresses them with ultra-bright 100-inch Full HD images, dual-pen and finger-touch interactivity, and a suite of collaboration and sharing tools to make creating engaging lessons easier. It also keeps on going for 20,000 hours, and comes with a five-year warranty, delivering maintenance-free operation for maximum peace of mind. The iProjection app for Windows 10, Mac and Chromebook allows students to use their own devices in the classroom, something that is increasingly essential.
Hans Dummer, director, Visual Instruments, EMEAR, says: “The first laser WUXGA ultra-short throw interactive display for education*, the EB-710Ui produces a scalable image up to 100 inches that far surpasses flat panels, whose size just doesn’t represent good value. Its images are interactive and shareable, with dual-pen and finger-touch interactivity so students can join in by directly annotating on the projected image. This is even true when you combine two displays together to create a huge, wide interactive collaboration surface that encourages participation. The EB-710Ui's laser-light technology is also a lesson in easy maintenance, with an integrated 16W speaker and microphone input so an additional sound system is not required.”
Epson's iProjection app is all about embracing personal devices in the classroom. A free download from app stores for iOS, Android, and now Chromebook, iProjection allows students to display content from their own phone, tablet or laptop wirelessly. The EB-710Ui’s split-screen function allows for the display of two separate types of content simultaneously.
At its core the EB-710Ui uses Epson's 3LCD technology and its laser-light source for clear, crisp and bright Full HD images. The EB-710Ui projects 4,000 lumens of Colour Light Output (CLO), which make its images ultra-bright and easily viewable in any ambient light conditions, even in bright sunlight. SMART Notebook software with a one-year classroom licence is also included.
The EB-710Ui is available from November 2017.
