Epson’s latest EcoTank printers save money and space
Helping consumers save space and money, Epson has launched several new printers (ET-2720, ET-2726, ET-2756) into its award-winning EcoTank range. These printers feature a re-engineered design making them even easier to use and creating a more compact footprint. The new models are on sale from April 2019.
Chris Jones, product manager, Epson Europe, says: “We know that money and space are important to our customers. These latest models can save users up to 90% on the cost of ink 1, while the compact footprint ensures the printer doesn’t take up too much space.”
In keeping with the other cost-saving EcoTanks in the range, the ET-2720, ET-2726 and ET-2756 don’t rely on cartridges for their ink. Instead, these printers feature a large ink tank that is filled by high-yield ink bottles. From the set of bottles included with the printer, the user has the equivalent of 88 cartridges worth of ink, which could print up to 14,000 pages in black and 6,500 in colour 2. Additional ink bottles are affordable too.
The latest printers in the EcoTank range feature a re-engineered design. No longer located to the side, the tank is integrated and placed at the front of the printer. In addition to saving space this modification means it’s simple to see how much ink is left. Furthermore, the re-engineered bottles are squeeze-free making refills easy and mess-free, and only the correct colours can be inserted into each tank.
Printing from mobiles, tablets and laptops is easy using EcoTank. With Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, users can send documents to print from smart devices using the Epson iPrint app 3. It can even receive files from almost anywhere in the world via Epson Email Print 3.
The latest additions provide choice to consumers with ET-2720/26 suited to those looking for an entry level 3-in-1 printer, while the ET-2756 provides additional features including double-sided printing and a SD card slot. The ET-2720 has a black body colour, while the ET-2726 and ET-2756 are offered in a new white finish.
The ET-2720, ET-2726 and ET-2756 are available from April 2019, priced at €XXX, €XXX and €XXX respectively.
