Photographic gurus to offer masterclass consultations

6 September 2018– Australian seascape photographer Ray Collins and French wedding and event photographer David Brenot will be on the Epson stand at photokina and will offer one-to-one consultations.

David Brenot will run 20 minute one-to-one consultations on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 September and Ray Collins will see photographers during his visit on Friday 28 September.  Booking is available at www.epson.eu/photokina.

David Brenot is a world-renowned wedding and event photographer who creates elegant, luminous and timeless images for his clients. “The truth can be defined as a life story, a moment and an emotion and that is what I try to create in capturing a wedding. I tell a story, a true story of life and love.” David is an established Epson ambassador, promoting the very best in photography including works that carry the Digigraphie stamp of quality.

Ray Collins bought his first camera in 2007 to take shots of his surfing friends but at 36 years old has secured an extraordinary collection of accolades, including a 1st in the California Academy of Sciences Big Picture, 1sts in Australia’s Surf Photo of the Year and the Juror’s Award from the Center for Fine Art Photography in the US. His work has featured in many globally recognised publications including Vogue, New York Post and National Geographic and he has two published books of his seascapes, Water & Light and Found at Sea. His aim is to make the viewer ‘feel’ something. “It doesn’t necessarily always have to be a nice feeling, just some kind of emotional impact,” he says.

Marc Boehmer, product manager Professional Photo at Epson Europe, says: “Epson is well known for offering professional level solutions for retailers, photographers, photo labs, studios and hobby photographers. In all we do the emphasis is on quality and productivity across our product range which includes microlabs, printers, scanners and media. But we won’t just provide kit, we want to share know-how and there will be Epson experts on hand to answer all and any questions.”

The SureColor SC-P printer range is the Epson technology most used for photographic applications, but Epson also offers SureColor SC-F dye sublimation and SC-S signage products  covering printing solutions for personal photos, collaborative print shop design, on-demand printing, professional large format images, signage, personalised products, T-shirts and home décor.
