Specifically designed for educational users, 13 projector models from Epson’s installation and ultra-short-throw interactive ranges will be on display, along with its latest selection of printers and scanners. Live demonstrations will give guests an opportunity to experience the new and exciting capabilities of Epson’s products.
Demonstrated for the first time at BETT will be Epson’s new ultra-short-throw interactive series, which allows interactive images to be projected onto a variety of flat surfaces, even desktops, without the need for special screens or whiteboards. The range’s ultra-short-throw capability helps achieve bigger projections without casting large shadows.
The new installation series of projectors features models that allow teachers and lecturers to present to students in a variety of light levels, allowing teachers to keep classroom lights switched on so that students can take notes.
Epson will also demonstrate how user-friendly its products are, with features included such as Wi-Fi connectivity, microphone input and keystone correction, so the picture is always straight.
“We’re excited about revealing our latest projectors at the BETT UK exhibition,” says Graeme Davidson, market development manager, Epson UK. “Showing teachers and education specialists our products first hand and demonstrating the innovative features will allow them to experience just how Epson products can help in the classroom. The interactivity of our new launches and the innovative technology that has been used to create them demonstrates why Epson became the world’s number one interactive projector manufacturer during 2010, according to Futuresource.”
